Anita-Marie Laurie has provided strategic communications counsel and support for clients across industries and special situations, including crises, restructurings, transactions, and labor issues involving such things as union matters, layoffs, strikes, facility closings and sales, change management, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She has also provided strategic communications counsel in connection with SEC and other regulatory investigations and litigation. Ms. Laurie develops and helps communicate her clients’ perspective to all of its constituents including the media, employees, customers, suppliers and other partners. She has served as the lead or co-lead executive in some of the largest Chapter 11 restructurings in the nation, including Delphi, Hostess and U.S. Airways. Before joining the firm in 1996, she held staff positions with the City of Santa Barbara and McDonald’s Corporation. Ms. Laurie holds an undergraduate degree in Humanities from Pepperdine University, where she also attended post graduate classes.
